Unifor Local 2121 Sisters and Brothers,
As you may be aware, 2025 is an election year for executive positions within our local.
We would like to welcome the members of Searose to their first bargaining unit election of officers!
The current term is set to expire December 31, 2025 and in accordance with the by-laws, the nomination period will be open for the entire month of September.
The nomination period will close on September 30, 2025. After this, all nominated members will be contacted to see if they accept the nomination. If more than one member accepts the nomination for the same position, an election will commence in the weeks following. Newly elected executive will assume positions January 1, 2026 for a 2-year term.

Executive positions up for nomination/election are:
Local President- To be voted on by the whole membership (Hibernia Unit, Terra Nova Unit and Searose Unit) and any 2121 member in good standing can be nominated.
Treasurer- To be voted on by the whole membership (Hibernia Unit, Terra Nova Unit and Searose Unit) and any 2121 member in good standing can be nominated.
Hibernia Vice-President-To be voted on by Hibernia Membership only. Any Hibernia Unit member in good standing can be nominated.
Terra Nova Vice-President-To be voted on by Terra Nova membership only. Any Terra Nova member in good standing can be nominated.
Searose Vice-President-To be voted on by Searose membership only. Any Searose member in good standing can be nominated.
Hibernia Recording Secretary- To be voted on by Hibernia Membership only. Any Hibernia Unit member in good standing can be nominated.
Terra Nova Recording Secretary- To be voted on by Terra Nova Membership only. Any Terra Nova Unit member in good standing can be nominated.
Searose Recording Secretary- To be voted on by Searose Membership only. Any Searose Unit member in good standing can be nominated.
